Man on Top Positions

Missionary
  • Probably the best known position in the Western World
  • Allows the man to control the action.
  • The woman's movements are restricted.
  • Full body contact allows for great intimacy with your partner
  • Allows for easy entry and deep penetration.
Raised Bottom
  • Use a pillow under the woman's hips to raise them up slightly.
  • Allows for slightly deeper penetration due to the tilt of the pelvis making the vagina more accessible.
Hip Rotation
  • The woman can tense her buttocks, lifting and swiveling her hips while thrusting upwards.
  • This position may trigger orgasm quickly for the man.
Legs Raised
  • Lifting the legs up will increase the depth of penetration.
  • The man could use his tongue and lips on the woman's ears, throat and mouth.
  • An added bonus to this position is that the man's pubic bone rubs against the woman's clitoris.
  • Many women find this position more comfortable than the traditional missionary position.
Feet on Shoulders
  • This position allows for maximum penetration.
  • Caution should be used, making sure that the woman is fully aroused so that you do not cause her any irritation upon penetration.
Split Levels
  • The woman lies on the bed with legs raised. The man crouches slightly on the floor.
  • This allows for a different feeling during penetration as the man's penis is parallel to the woman's vagina.
  • The woman is able to control the movement, pressing against him for deeper penetration, or rotating her hips for and interesting stimulative effect.
  • The man also has a great deal of leverage or movement to work with.
Locking Legs
  • The woman raises her legs high up and locks them around her partner.
  • The woman can contribute to his leverage by squeezing him close to her or by just holding him with her thighs.
  • A possible drawback to this position is that some men find it results in a rather hurried orgasm.
Legs Together
  • The woman keeps her thighs pressed together tightening her vagina around her partners penis.
  • The sharper angle of entry adds stimulation to the clitoris.
